SENIOR MANAGER, SALES & MARKETING

 

The Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for ensuring the company’s reputation as a leader in their field. You will oversee all aspects of the Sales and Marketing function ensuring the integration of activities to achieve sales objectives of the organization.

As a highly motivated self starter, you will be required to:

• Manage and develop a high performing sales and marketing team; supporting them in achieving their personal objectives as well as those of the organization;


• Identify new opportunities and implement sales strategies to maximize impact in the marketplace and return for our shareholders;


• Manage product, pricing, and inventory strategies to meet objectives;


• Maintain and enhance strong customer relationships that secure and grow the business;


• Manage the brand and product mix to optimize profitability and return for each major business category;


• Create sales support materials and communication campaigns that support the value proposition and business strategy;


• Collaborate on new product development and support new product launch into the marketplace;

 

The Candidate:

 

As the ideal candidate you possess a Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration degree along with ten years of sales and marketing experience preferably within a senior management capacity. You are a demonstrated leader particularly as it applies to motivating and coaching staff with the ability to see the “big picture”.  You are highly analytical, detail oriented with an entrepreneurial drive and possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
