Drilling Assistant
BC Based Drilling Company is looking for Driller Assistant for a crew rotation. Job is located in Northern B.C. and will start up August 15th 2011.
Salary based on experience and all travel expenses will be paid.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy lifting, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of standing, bending, reaching, twisting, extending of hands and arms for long periods of times, working long hours 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for 30 days. Team Player, listening and carrying out instructions, & following all safety protocol. Working in a variety of weather conditions.
Job Description:
Assists the driller with the following but not limited to:
- Moving drill & equipment from one drill setup to another
- Assisting with setup the drill and all equipment
- Handling core -removing from tubes, labeling, and placement into core boxes
- Hauling supplies and equipment
