SQL DBA
On behalf of our client in the Lower Mainland, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a SQL DBA for a 7 month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.
Requirements:
- Experience managing SQL 2005/2008 server databases application
- Experience in both normalized and de-normalized environments from a variety of data sources
- Understands advanced relational database concepts with the development and support
- Proficiency with physical and logical database design
- Efficiency understanding complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs
- High efficiency writing and understanding Microsoft SQL (statements, stored procedures and views) using industry best practices for security and efficiency
- Proficient with database code management, review and documentation
- Experience with collecting requirements from the business users and transforming them into data models and logical and physical designs with the use of database designs tools
- Experience with the development and support of web enabled data base application using ASP.NET and IIS 6.0
