Specific responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain multiple partnership opportunities with local ENGOs, government and corporations

  • Develop sales strategies for the scalable growth of the Vancouver region

  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers and deliver ongoing value to create further revenue opportunities

  • Maintain prime responsibility over BC sales estimates, proposals, sales presentations and all prospect, customer and partner communications

  • Establish potential targets and market analyses of BC customers for use as sales leads and to develop targeted sales campaigns and tools

  • Collaborate with other internal business units to create local brand awareness campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives

  • Work with corporate and local and national marketing and communications teams to develop targeted sales campaigns and sales tools for the British Columbia market, including tailored product offerings for key accounts

  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and other events

  • Assist in local implementation of marketing and communications benefits to commercial customers


Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5-7 years of equivalent experience in Sales and Marketing or related field

  • Proven success in a senior B2B Marketing, Sales or Business Development role

  • Proven ability to establish strong client relationships at various levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated knowledge and success in selling into the British Columbia B2B market

  • experience with managing a sales pipeline and meeting revenue expectations

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work independently

  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Track record as a self-starter

  • Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency and a high activity level as they strive to achieve growing levels of success

  • A demonstrated passion for environmental issues, the ability to identify with customers, a team player approach
