Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced cosmetics sales executive who wants to take on a new challenge that is a step-up from sales. We need an energetic, knowledgeable and confident cosmetic specialist to supervise counter managers located in different stores (20 accounts across BC). The successful candidate will be conducting training on products, new items for launch, explaining new marketing and promotional tactics, motivating, coaching and driving counter managers / cosmetics associates to sell these products. While the day-to-day task mostly involves training, coaching and performing educational programs, the bottom line and key success indicator for this position is still product turnover in the store level. It is still essentially a sales role with a twist on the tasks involved to achieve results.
The position will pay a base salary between 50-55k per year plus an annual bonus of up to 10% depending on performance. Other pay components include car allowances, kilometer reimbursement should you travel outside of Vancouver (Interior & Vancouver Island). The position is home-based where 90% of the candidate’s time is spent in the stores / accounts. Cell phone, laptop etc will be provided for ease of communication and reporting. |

Qualifications
- Experience in Counter Sales of COsmetics in major retail chains (minimum of 2 years)
- Experience in training, performing product demos and detailing product features and benefits will be a definite asset
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, achieving goals through group effort
- Willingness to travel overnight (interior and the Island)
- Ability to execute tasks efficiently through a home-office environment
- Must be able to visit required number of accounts / stores per day
