EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years
Our Client, a prominent, service - oriented, high volume Law Firm is actively seeking a legal assistant, with plaintiff personal injury experience, for its Vernon, B.C. office. The applicant must have at least three (3) consecutive years of related law firm employment. Qualified candidates must be a team player with excellent organizational, communication and people skills and be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a high school diploma. Proficiency with MS Word and typing skills of a minimum 70 WPM are necessary. Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to pay strict attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure, are pre-requisites.
Several duties, but not limited to are file management; trial preparations; communications with file adjusters, defence counsel and clients; preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

Computer skills;
Typing ability of at least 70 WPM.
