POS Technology Specialist
On behalf of our client, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for an experienced POS Technology Specialist to join our rapidly expanding client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configura tion, installation & troubleshooting of Point of Sale systems
- Hardware and software maintenance of the Point of Sale systems
- Some network maintenance
- MS exchange server and internet maintenance
- Point of Sale system auditing and training
- Monitoring payment processing through merchant service providers
- Maintaining gift card technology
Additional areas that you may also become involved with include:
- Kitchen display systems set up and maintenance
- Restaurant hosting technology program
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Point of Sale system experience(Squirrel Systems would be an asset)
- Exceptional experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of MS server 2003
- Experience with desktop and mobile computers, including VPN connectivity
- Understanding of internet and network connectivity
- Basic hardware knowledge including installation and set up of standalone and networked computer systems
