Systems Administrator
On behalf of our client in the Lower Mainland, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Systems Administrator for a permanent opportunity.
Our dynamic client has an immediate opening for a candidate who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, confident and good troubleshooting abilities, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires an individual with an ability to function effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, customer-centric, process-oriented, team-based environment servicing primarily Microsoft networks.
Support Experience
- Server 2003/2008 (SBS, Exchange, SQL, Terminal server)
- Windows XP/Vista/7
- Routers, switches, wireless, WAP, WPA/WEP, VLAN, VPN connections
- Knowledge of Sonicwall, Acronis Imaging, an asset
Customer Service Experience
- Professional, friendly, confident attitude
- Process oriented, highly-motivated, and passionate individual
- Excellent organizational skills
- Clear, concise communications skills
- Effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications and requirements
- 5+ years experience as a intermediate level Systems Administrator
- Recent MCSE/MCITP certification and/or a computer systems related specialty
