POSITION SUMMARY: An LTL Account Executive with experience providing exceptional trans-border service is required for the Eastern division of a thriving LTL freight company. The successful candidate will maintain company standards of providing reliable, valuable LTL services in a trans-border environment. The LTL Account Executive will possess superior communication and interpersonal skills along with solid negotiation capabilities. The sales territory encompasses the South Shore area of Montreal. |
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES : All facets of territory development including prospecting, rate negotiations, and growth/maintenance of existing accounts Acquire profitable new business in the trans-border LTL market Meet specific company objectives Determine customer needs and communicate those needs to the Operations team |
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player: Bachelors degree required Minimum of 2 years trans-border LTL sales experience with an LTL/TL carrier Proven track record of sales success in the transportation industry with a high degree of professionalism Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Canada/US LTL/TL market, including pricing and competition Well-balanced hunter/farmer sales style Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Strong computer skills Highly motivated team player Strong desire to meet or exceed company objectives Conducts self with honesty and integrity Ability to work independently |
