Delivery Specialists must have one to two years driving experience, a valid driver license and a clean driving abstract. As a Delivery Specialist you provide excellent customer service through the delivery, pickup, care and service of furniture, appliances, electronics and other home furnishings. You increase store revenues by recommending add-on items when setting up merchandise in customer homes, by distributing flyers, generating sales leads, servicing merchandise and by refurbishing returned items. You will be responsible for maintaining vehicles and store facilities. Note that this position requires the lifting and moving of heavy items, on a daily basis.
Hourly Rate of Pay
$12.60 - $17.85 / hr (depending on experience & geographical area)
Qualifications
* Secondary School Diploma preferred
* Valid driver license (with minimum 3 years experience)
* Clean driving abstract
* Thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws
* Understanding of geographic locations and able to read a map
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items like fridges and washing machines

* Open six days a week and evenings
* Varying shifts, with mid-week and Sunday off
* Company dress code in effect, uniform required
* Local and regional travel, involving frequent deliveries to customer homes
* Daily and repeated heavy lifting of furniture, appliances and home furnishings
* Use of household cleaners and cleaning equipment to clean and refurbish
