Full time, permanent job in Winnipeg. $80,000 to $95,000 + benefits. Our client is a steel manufacturer seeking an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience. Applicants should have an electrical engineering degree with P.Eng designation. Other requirements include a good working knowledge of electronics, familiarity with power distribution, high voltage and have excellent communication skills. Applicant should also have experience in planning and project management. Project Management /Maintenance and Heavy Industry or Steel Manufacturing is a definite asset. Additionally, experience with the following would be considered an asset. AC/DC motors, AC/DC drives (GE AC/CD 2000, Allen Bradely and ABB); PLC’s and distributed I/O’s; transformers and capacitor banks; High power distribution; instrumentation.
