Key Responsibilities:

 

• Source and actively sell travel products and destinations to meet customer needs;


• Develop long term and meaningful relationships with clients;


• Meet sales targets as set out by the travel agency manager;


• Deal with complicated customer itineraries;


• Handle customer orders and payments;


• Liaise with tour operators and other key partners such as hotels and airlines regarding bookings and   schedules;


• Advise clients about passports, vaccinations, visas, foreign currency, travel insurance, and excursions in resorts;

 

 

Key Qualifications:

 

• Minimum 3 years of proven results within the travel and tourism industry;


• Self Starter with a focus on results and customer satisfaction;


• Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills;


• Flexible and energetic with the ability to work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment;


• Possess an established base of expertise and a network of contacts that will help identify opportunities;


• Superior analytical, written and verbal communication skills;


• Demonstrated capacity to effectively plan and optimize personal productivity;


• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);


• Familiarity with client management (CRM) and Apollo software an asset;
