Our client is a leading international designer, manufacturer and marketer of mid- to high-end office systems and related furniture products. Their integrated product portfolio encompasses several lines of systems furniture, mobile furniture, architectural wall systems, seating, storage and filing, freestanding case goods and accessories.

Reporting to the Territory Manager/Prairie Region, the Sales Coordinator is self-motivated and has the ability to work independently.  You are responsible to coordinate and support all sales activities and manage the showroom maintenance for the Winnipeg office.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate RFP proposals including research using Sant software, organization of materials, preparing information and production of final document packages including formats and graphics to meet submission deadlines

  • Distribute and track loaner products and marketing materials to clients, dealers and designers

  • Maintain database updates in Pivotal using SQ information and running reports as required.  Manage and maintain sales documents in electronic system.

  • Arrange meetings including booking arrangements, catering and preparation and distribution of materials as required

  • Maintenance of the Winnipeg showroom and sample area, including supervision of cleaning staff

  • Act as client and dealer liaison in absence of Sales Representative and conduct showroom tours when required

  • General office duties including greeting clients, answering phones, maintenance of office equipment, faxing, filing, photocopying, courier packages, ordering supplies, and preparation of purchase requisitions


Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma preferably in interior design, marketing or business administration

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years previous experience proving coordination and support for project based work, with exposure to a sales or marketing environment

  • Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to details combined with a high sense of urgency to client requests

  • Ability to multi-task, trouble shoot with strong co-ordination skills and resourcefulness

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Sales Relationship Management software and Microsoft Project a definite asset
