Industrial Millwright - PERMANENT - $34.02/hr
No. of Positions: 4 (3 days + 1 rotating days / afternoons)
SHIFT: 3 - day shift - Fri. / Sat. / Sun. / Mon. - 6:30am to 5:00pm (4 day shifts at 10 hrs each)
1- day / aft. weekly rotation - (days: 6:30am to 3:00pm / aft: 2:45pm to 11:15pm (Mon. to Fri.)
LOCATION: Brandon, Manitoba** (relocation assistance provided)
** second largest city in Manitoba ; population 43,000 with neighboring area increasing it to approx. 150,000
** southern Manitoba, 2.5 hrs from Winnipeg, 1.5 hrs from US border (North Dakota)
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Industrial Millwright certification - Interprovincial OR Manitoba
* 5 yrs+ industrial maintenance experience in a production environment
* prior experience in a food production facility an asset
* computer literate
* superior troubleshooting skills
* strong communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to tight time constraints
* Ability to work in a team and follow safe work practices
* Able to work with little or no supervision
Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance on processing equipment as required
* Troubleshoot and rebuild production equipment as required
* Perform preventative maintenance on building mechanical systems as required
* Perform repairs to building mechanical systems as required (entry doors, HVAC units, exhaust fans, chillers, etc.)
* Install, troubleshooting and problem solving / repair of conveyor systems
* Produce close tolerance spare parts
* Use of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
* Laser shaft alignment of motor / pump units
* Participation in preventative and predictive maintenance program for key production equipment
