Overview
Wrapex Industrial Services Ltd. is currently looking for Journeymen Scaffolders and Apprentices at all levels to work out of our Drayton Valley Projects.
Specific Responsibilities
- Execute scaffolding installation by using appropriate scaffolding methods in the field; fit steel pipes, support braces and clamps to form bases; lift and position sections of scaffolding; and bolt pipes together
- Supervise apprentices/labourers as assigned
- Check requirements from drawings and written instructions, select materials and set ground levels
- Able to focus on safe work practices
Education and Experience
- Certified Journeymen Scaffoldersand Apprentices at all levels are welcome
- Journeymen Scaffolders with Interprovincial Red Seal would be an added asset
- CSTS, Fall Protection and H2S Alive Certification
- Good with math and reading skills
- Mechanical inclineand attention to detail are a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work with a flexible schedule
- Good leadership skill are an asset
