Specific Skills:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance
Security and Safety:
Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Transportation/Travel Information:
Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills:
Working with others, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning
Other:
Funtional knowledge of English & clean driver's abstract is must. Selcted candidate will be driving reefers & containers on Canada-US routes. Overtime will be paid after 60 working hours in a week
