Job-0555 - Parts Representative
Our client is currently recruiting for a Parts Representative in the Fort McMurray, Alberta area. This position will focus on recognizing and developing opportunities to expand business within the Parts Department. This will be achieved by responding to customer orders and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner and more importantly driving parts sales through knowledge of the industry and initiative when responding to customer calls. The Parts Representative position will also coordinate all shipping and receiving duties within the branch.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, Full Time
SALARY: Competitive compensation and benefits plan available.

LOCATION: Fort McMurray
EDUCATION: Completion of high school is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum of one year experience in a parts office or warehouse operation and shipping/receiving is required.
- Familiar with parts terminology and sourcing venues
- Ability to conduct oneself in a consistent professional manner through strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively questions the customer to ensure a sound understanding of the product application and requirements
- Accept customer stock order and emergent orders
- Assist in locating parts in parts manuals
- Telephone and counter sales
- Records quotation and order information clearly and completely on applicable forms or screens
- Compares quotations to orders and resolves any differences
- Enters accepted orders into the NDS System accurately and in a timely manner
- Completes purchase/work orders accurately and promptly
- Responds to NDS System flags of reorder point
- Source and purchase required parts
- Maintain parts inventory through inventory control and warehousing processes
- Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
- Prepare parts, supplies and materials for shipment
- Issue and distribute parts, supplies and materials
SECURITY AND SAFETY: Security clearance check, drivers abstract, and pre-employment medical screening required.
