Job Overview
These positions are responsible for performing maintenance, repair and rebuilding construction equipment at various customer locations or in the shop. All field and shop work will be completed in a safe, efficient and capable manner.

- Focusing on mining equipment, the Heavy Equipment Technician must be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace all defective parts, components or systems.
- This requires strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments.
- This position must be able to work with minimal supervision but also participate in the work of other technicians and apprentices within the field environment.
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification is required.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair issues in electronic, mechanical, electro/hydraulic systems common to construction equipment products.
- Heavy Equipment Technicians with experience working on similar excavator equipment are considered an asset.
- Experience with manufacturer specific equipment diagnostic systems i.e. Laptop or onboard is essential.
