Overview: The Hoist and Shaft areas include #1 and #2 hoists, shafts and head frames, the loading pocket, Mine air heat, Mine fresh air and exhaust vent fans, and all associated ancillary equipment.

Job Description Responsibilities:
• Lead a project discipline design team consisting of designers and drafters.
• Plan, schedule and determine manpower requirements for the project.
• Project setup and overall execution.
• Establish design standards, guidelines, processes and interfaces to other disciplines.
• Preparation of man-hour estimates, cost estimates, manpower planning, scheduling and progressing for the design deliverables of the project as per scope of work.
• Resource management (design team)
• Change management
• Adherence to all project standards and corporate procedures.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to designer/drafters.
• Provide technical support when required.
• Approval for all discipline design and CADD tools.
• Interface with team members, other discipline members and client.
• Final approval for all electrical deliverables
• Deliverable production, authorization and storage. Vendor drawing reviews and backup.
• Overall discipline design teams performance
Job Requirements
• Electrical Engineering Technology from a recognized College or equivalent qualification.
• CET registration with ASET or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in related oil and gas field.
• Knowledgeable with latest revision of CEC Part 1, C22.1
