Camp Manager
CAMP MANAGER
Overview: To supervise the accommodation facilities, dining room services, recreational and leisure amenities to all residents.
Specific Accountabilities (include but are not limited to):
- Supervise accommodations within the camp
- Staffing and scheduling
- Supervises and Orients staff
- Assumes responsibility for security of camp facilities and camp personnel
- Conduct Personnel evaluation(s)
- Provide general supervision and guidance while ensuring that all staff complies with company's Policies, Procedures, Standards and Best Practices at all times
- Maintain ongoing communication and working rapport with all Lighthouse Camp Services Ltd’s clients, ensuring the client is satisfied with overall service, cleanliness, and maintenance our facilities
- Responsible for camp operations including start-ups and shutdowns, operational, administrative and maintenance duties, budgetary responsibilities, and overall client satisfaction
- Provide staff with on-the-job training
Designations/Training/Experienc e Requirements:
- A minimum of 15 years experience in a related role
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory/management capacity is required
- A minimum of 10 years of international experience is mandatory
Job Specific Competencies and Skill Set:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Efficient time management skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft office applications such as Word and Excel
- Ability to administer and receive constructive feedback from both clients and Lighthouse Camp Services Ltd’s employees
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting items that weigh up to 25kg
- Working in remote locations
- Must pass a drug and alcohol screening as well as medical
