Service Technician & Group Leader
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide after sales service to customers of Bosch Rexroth Canada both in the field and in the repair shop as required. Provide a ready response to customers and meet their expectations in terms of quality, service, professionalism, and values, consistent with the Rexroth brand.
- Take a leadership role in the day to day operations of the service team in Edmonton and ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers is provided. Support the market growth opportunities in the market by developing internal skills and infrastructure.
- Proficiently operate, program, commission, and fault find Rexroth hydraulic components and systems. Perform in-house repairs in accordance to Rexroth standards and guidelines. Troubleshoot and start-up of hydraulic components and systems.
- Willing to be on-call on a regularly scheduled basis or for emergency situations. Flexible to carry out a degree of overnight or weekend travel. May occasionally be away from home for undetermined periods of time.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years experience in hydraulic field applications.
- Familiarity with hydraulic schematic drawings.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically Windows and MS Office.
- Proficient communication and reporting skills.
- A team player who is motivated and can work effectively with minimal supervision or in a group environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function effectively under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Quality and efficiency in fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- Valid driver's license.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Fluid Power Diploma (Technician or Technologist) or equivalent experience.
