Job Description/Main Duties:
- Train and prepare the Olympic Quality Grand Prix show jumpers for competitions
- Develop young horses into Grand Prix Show Jumping horses
- Manage and develop training, physiotherapy, and exercise programs
- Formulate and execute a feeding program
- Travel with the horses to national and international competitions by land or air
- Act as mentors and teach other trainees the skills necessary to train and prepare the Olympic Quality Grand Prix show jumpers for competitions
- Maintain Olympic Quality Grand Prix show jumpers performance records
- Recognize, diagnose and treat certain problems of Olympic Quality Grand Prix show jumpers
- Develop schedules and establish procedures
Employment Requirements:
- Must provide all training and preparation of Olympic Quality Grand Prix Show Jumpers
- Ability to coordinate veterinary and farrier treatments
- Knowledge and experience in specialized training Olympic Quality Grand Prix show jumpers for competitions
