Responsible for achieving the Region’s Used Equipment marketing and sales goals. Manages the marketing and sales of the Region’s Used Equipment.
• Evaluates Region’s fleet market/competitive pricing, and age/book value to plan and achieve Used Equipment marketing and sales goals. In coordination with National Programs, conducts, coordinates and manages the Region’s marketing of used equipment.
• Establishes and maintains used equipment database to develop priority asset listings for marketing opportunities. Works with store managers to produce database which will include digital photographs and supporting condition reports for all used equipment within the region. If applicable, works with Corporate marketing team for direct mail campaigns. In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and/or the Store Manager, sets re-pricing for the Region’s Used Equipment, including special pricing and discount-from-list pricing.
• Maintains current information and pricing on Region’s Used Equipment in the Wynne system and in all national advertising media.
• Directly or indirectly supervises, hires and trains the region’s Used Equipment Sales Specialists. Acts as a resource to all members of the sales organization in matters of Used Equipment marketing, sales and pricing. In conjunction with the Regional Fleet Manager, manages the Optimal Life Calculation program for the region’s equipment.
• Works with brokers to market and sell Used Equipment through wholesale channels. In coordination with National Programs, policies and procedures, plans and stages used equipment auctions.
• Drives, implements, sustains and develops quality process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations and customer service.
Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years directly related experience.
• High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess excellent vendor relations capabilities with significant purchasing and contract experience.
• Computer knowledge.
