Project Manager

Principal Accountabilities
Manage projects from receipt of purchase to delivery to the Customer
Perform commercial and technical contract review. Ensure scope is well defined and documentation is available to start the work activities
Schedule engineering, procurement and fabrication using MS Project.
Track costs and monitor margins
Track project outstanding issues and work with the project team and the Customer to resolve them
Prepare and present monthly project updates to Senior Management
Assure Gate Processes are followed and documented
Assure that all orders are administered in a professional manner in accordance with the agreed work scope.
Manage the project team to best execute the scope at hand including engineering, procurement, quality, fabrication, documentation preparation
Manage the Customers to assure appropriate reporting and flow of information to keep the project moving forward
Coordinate development, submittal and approval of customer required documents.
Maintain appropriate records and controls on all documentation.
Review returned drawings from customer.
Determine changes or information required to take appropriate actions and advise all parties concerned.
Issue progress reports when required
Facilitate resolution of all shop problem and production bottlenecks in and expedition manner.
Identify scope changes to the contracts and obtain customer approval of price and delivery adjustments
Coordinated, schedule and direct visits by customer inspectors and/or their delegates.
Facilitate and host Customers for witness testing and inspections
Work with other Flowserve associates to be able to accomplish the required outcome and completion of the project
Will be required to travel
Qualifications
5 yrs PM experience
Strong organization, planning and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Some technical background required
