Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and monitoring for process systems. Includes troubleshooting and optimization of gas plant processes and machinery.
- Identify process system opportunities and provide conceptualization, work scope and cost estimation for capital planning.
- Participate or lead process safety management initiatives for the plant and the PTC pipeline (Hazop, MOC, process documentation, etc).
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, policies and practices. Assess new legislation for the impact on company activities.
- Provide process technical support for projects to ensure cost effective, fit for purpose solutions.
- Utilize process simulation systems for process engineering work.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Process or Chemical Engineering
- Eligible for registration with APEGGA.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and process codes and standards (CSA, API, ASME)
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems.
