Locksmith Service Technician
Gunnebo Canada continues to grow in Northern Alberta and is currently seeking Locksmiths to install,
maintain and service all types of door hardware and Medeco restricted locks. Position requires knowledge
in developing and maintaining master key systems as well as a working knowledge of local Fire and Life
Safety codes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installation of door hardware and related products to specifications
• Repair and service door hardware to client expectations
• Design and maintain master key systems
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs
• In consultation with clients recommend solutions to enhance physical security measures
• Prepare and submit all paperwork in a timely and business -like manner
• Ensure company vehicle is driven and maintained in a manner consistent with policies
• Responsible for security of company vehicle, tools, equipment and inventory
Education & Experience & Skills:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 2-5 years locksmith/safe technician experience at a minimum
• Journeyman certificate is a definite asset
• Working knowledge of Electronic Security Systems is an asset
• Any certified courses through associations and/or manufacturer
