Job Overview
This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repair and rebuilding of cranes and utilities equipment. The candidate should have experience on digger derricks, knuckle and straight boom trucks. All work will be completed in a safe, efficient and capable manner within a shop environment.
Responsibilities
The Cranes and Utilities Technician must be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions
Adjust, repair, or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced.
This requires strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments.
The Technician must also test the repaired equipment for proper performance.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision but also participate in the work of other technicians and apprentices within the shop environment.
Requirements
Candidate should have Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Must have three (3) to five (5) years of experience.
It is essential demonstrated ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair issues in electronic, mechanical, electro/hydraulic systems common to crane utilities equipment products.
The candidate should have good communication skills along with a positive attitude.
