Support and complete the control system design for engine and equipment interfaces on the Power Generation skids; these units provide power to the Progressing Cavity Pump Product line.
Power Generation products consisting of Hydraulic Power Skids, Electrical Power Generation, Stationary Engines, Enclosures/Buildings and their associated equipment.
Create as required the control system design, logic drawings, interconnect drawings, control philosophies, technical specifications, and documentation associated with the development, sustaining, and manufacturing of related equipment.
Ensures that the control system equipment design complies with all local, regional, and country electrical codes, regulations, and requirements.
Completes the genset sizing and applications support for the electrical power skids.
Works closely with Technical Support, Global Business Unit, Regional Sales and Manufacturing to identify and resolve sustaining equipment related issues.
Support, lead, and contribute the cost optimization projects for new and existing products through focus on design, optimization, and lean manufacturing processes.
Develop, document, participate, and monitor all equipment related with test programs internally, externally, and field trials.
Provide technical support for the application and trouble shooting of new, current, and legacy Electrical Power Generation and Hydraulic Power Skids systems and related equipment to Applications and Regional Sales groups.
Engineering representative for electronic engine controls, governor controls, electronic fuel systems, equipment monitoring, and data communication.
Review and assist with the evolution of control system concepts, technical standards, and product design as required by the guidance and vision of the Product Line.
Qualifications
Electrical Engineering Technologist or Electrical Journeyman with industrial controls experience.
3-5 Years of related experience
Knowledge and experience with power generation is an asset.
Knowledge of electronic engine controls is a asset
