Senior Civil Designer
Our client, one of the world's largest EPCM companies is hiring for the following position:
Senior Civil Designer
Core Responsibilities
• Collect all necessary and latest information to start the drawing (ie: Design Sketches, Vendor Prints, Piping Layouts and Drawings).
• Draft and develop Civil studies and layouts
• Draft clear and complete Civil drawings
• Ensure all drawings and material are in accordance with Company and/or client specifications and standards, including all applicable codes and regulations
• Ensure all drawings are in agreement with the latest vendor print available and the latest information from the Piping and Electrical groups.
• Correct use of standards and work instructions, thus improving production.
• Review vendor and in-house coordination drawings to ensure their compliance with related project requirements
• Prepare Bills of Material
• Guide other levels of Drafting personnel assigned to their area on a project
• Visit construction sites and fabrication shops as required
Qualifications
• Technology diploma
• 6-8 years of experience in civil drafting/design
• Experience with PDS and Autoplant
• Experience within the EPC environment and oil and gas required
