My client is a General Contractor that turns over in excess of $100 million per year throughout Western Canada. They work within the Commercial/Industrial and Heavy civil Markets and all of the work is hard bid and within the public sector. They have just been awarded a $7 Million design build industrial unit and as such are looking for a Site based Senior Project Coordinator.
The Role: Reporting into a Superintendent that will be visiting 2-3 time a week you will be responsible for the site coordination and sub contractor management. The role will require you to supervise the construction work on site to make sure the construction is on schedule, budget, and as per specification. You will be required to produce progress reports, order materials, and coordinate trades and sub contractors with the superintendents help to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget .
My Client is looking for a proven track record in construction project coordination within the commercial and industrial sector. You must have at least 5-10 years experience working for a General Contractor within the commercial and industrial sector as a project coordinator and worked on projects up to $10 million.
