Progessing Cavity Pump Applications Technologist

Weatherford Artificial Lift Systems- Progressive Cavity Pump Systems in Lloydminster Alberta is recruiting for an applications Technologist to perform the following duties.
- Assist in well equipment design, installation and operation
- Handle issues relating to problem well analysis and develop strategies for corrective action
- Provide trend and performance analysis of various artificial lift products
- Work with R&D to develop and test new products based on industry and client requirements
- Develop and present training to internal personnel and customers regarding Artificial Lift products
- Perform failure analysis on PC Pump manufactured products
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent with preference given to those who have a Petroleum Industry related degree, certificate or diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience of oil production is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above average computer skills
- Knowledge of Weatherford products and services including progressing cavity pumping systems would be an asset
- Valid Gas Testing, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Petroleum Safety Training, TDG and WHIMIS would be an asset
