We work as a public private partnership, to ensure the safety and security of the traveling public. GARDA is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers for the Edmonton International Airport. Description: Must be 18 years of age or older, Canadian Citizen, or Landed Immigrant (minimum of 5 years residency), high school graduate3 (GED accepted), customer service oriented, ability to work under pressure, ability to work with the public, own transportation, shift work is a requirement, positive attitude, self motivated, reliable and have a good work ethic, ability to work within a structured environment, excellent communication skills (fluent written and oral English) french is a asset, medical exam and criminal check is required. Uniforms will be supplied and benefits after 90 day. Training will be provided upon hire.
Wage: to start $17.18/hr up to $18.26/hr according to Union agreement, plus possible retention bonus of $2.40/hr totaling at $19.58/hr up to $20.66/hr certain conditions apply.
