Description of Project or Company/Organization:
Through our Health Service Support Contract with the Department of National Defense, Calian’s healthcare professionals work in partnership with military healthcare teams providing primary care to today’s Canadian Forces. Our dynamic healthcare teams consist of more than 500 professionals providing healthcare services coast-to-coast.

Job Description:
Working within an independent environment, this position presents the successful candidate with an opportunity to work with a very disciplined and motivated client base whose injuries result mainly from sports and training activities. You will be called upon to deliver safe, efficient and effective physiotherapy interventions using evidence-based approaches and best practices.
Therapeutic techniques used include, but are not limited to:
• Manual therapy and soft tissue techniques for musculoskeletal conditions, scar tissue and muscle tension, circulatory disorders and lymphatic problems;
• Electrotherapeutic therapy;
Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to participate in:
• Ergonomics with on site assessments;
• Education to patients and to other members of the health care team;
• Injury Prevention & Health Promotion presentations.

Mandatory Qualifications:
• Licensed with the College of Physical Therapists of Ontario
Desirable Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required
