Occupational Tester
We are currently seeking an entry level Occupational Tester for our Leduc facility. If you are looking to expand your skill set while working in a fast paced environment, this is the job for you!
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, rotating eight hour shifts between the hours of 7:45am-5:30pm. Testers are required to wear and provide their own scrubs during office hours. Occasional travel for onsite testing is also required and will be compensated accordingly.
Majority of training is provided in house, with the exception of Audiometric and Spirometry ourses which are offered through Grant MacEwan. The compensation structure for this position includes a starting wage of $13.50, with the opportunity for a raise once each level of testing is completed. Benefits and a monthly bonus structure are also available after a three month probationary period.
Occupational Testers are required to assist with client intake, administer various occupational tests, fill out corresponding paperwork and send off testing results. Training is provided for the following tests: breath alcohol, urine express, urine lab based, saliva alcohol, oral fluid express, oral fluid lab based, DOT tests, audiometric, spirometry, vision and mask fit tests.
The training for this position is extensive and requires an individual who is ready and willing to continuously learn new procedures and processes. We require individuals who are ready to be on their feet for a full day while providing exceptional customer service. As an applicant, you must have a strong attention to detail, have excellent time management skills and can effectively deal with conflict.
