Our company is currently accepting applications for a Mechanic/Welder at our Edmonton, AB location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Maintain equipment in a professional manner
-Follow policies & procedures
-Work safely, using directed PPE
-Complete tasks in a timely fashion as to the SRT Guidelines
-Maintain fleet equipment
-Driver and Shunt equipment
-Have basic tools for the job to start and increase as required
-Complete Apprenticeship training Highway Truck and/or Trailer
SKILLS
-Operation of hand tools
-Operation of air tools
-Positive work ethic
-Positive attitude & job performance
-Apprenticeship training to obtain Journeyman -Red Seal status
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Valid Drivers License -Class 1 preferred but not required
-Grade 12 or equivalent
