We are currently looking for an experienced, career minded Asset Management Professional for the Fort MacKay, Alberta Branch. Our client is a heavy equipment dealer who serves over 30 locations across Canada. The Asset Management Professional facilitates systems programs between the Company and Clients using a service and engineering resources monitor. Fort MacKay is a remote village on the shore of the Athabasca River, just North of Fort McMurray. The population of Fort MacKay is around 862 and perfect for those who love sleepy little villages. The economy is centered around the Alberta Oil Sands and their airport has regular flights between Edmonton and Calgary for those who like to travel.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, Full Time
SALARY: $42/hr with a comprehensive benefits plan available.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible
LOCATION: Fort MacKay, AB
EDUCATION: A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. A Heavy Duty Mechanic (Heavy Equipment Technician) Certificate or Mechanical Engineering Technology degree would be an asset.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment. Expert knowledge of various mining or similar products is also an asset. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of computers and communications software, parts and inventory management skills, planning and scheduling skills, expert customer relations skills, and clear communications skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create cases and reports out to clients on status and recommended resolution to enhance shovel availability.
- Monitor?s and informs Clients on product improvement process
- Monitors and Informs Clients on service bulletins.
- Provides Coaching and Performance monitoring using Global e-Service product. This includes management of user & password support for Clients.
- Works closely with Clients to optimize warranty and component exchange program.
- Reports at Quarterly Vendor Performance Meetings.
- Monitors and reports on rebuild exchange and cost for repairs.
- Looks for savings opportunity to enhance customer relationships.
