Your Position...
South Rock Ltd, a leader in highway and municipal road construction is seeking a qualified Finish Grader Operator reporting to the Job Foreman or Superintendent. This position includes focus on the following areas:
- Performing either rough grade finishing or fine grade finishing.
- Mixing and spreading materials on roadway.
- Ability to understand grades and have a knowledge of plans and drawings and overall road construction.
- Taking instructions from the grademan, ability to guide grader based on form stakes and lines.

Skills / Requirements
- Understanding of ground disturbance and ability to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment.
- 1-2 years experience as a finish grader operator, in road construction.
- Willing to learn to take direction.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers.
- Must have a valid Driver's Licence (minimum class 5).
- Ability to work under pressure in some situations.
- Physically able to perform all physical actions pertinent to the job, and equipment operation.
- Ability to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
- Work overtime as required.
