We are currently looking for an Area Manager in Calgary for Sony Ericsson.

 

The Area Manager will be responsible for supporting and executing the structured channel strategy of Sony Ericsson Canada under the direction of the Director of Retail Sales.  The Area Manager  will  be working with Key Retailers and Dealers to develop and implement sell through programs which support both SE and carrier partners; and will be responsible for the sales of regional key dealers and SE retail presence throughout the distribution channels within the specified region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement account planning, promotions, training and marketing programs for key dealers in the West.

  • Execute coverage and plans for Rogers/Fido regional offices, Dealer Channel

  • Set-up specific objectives for each account/call according to priorities and opportunities

  • Prepare Initiative Plans to unearth opportunities from key accounts

  • Sell new distribution of existing brands/products

  • Encourage and provide incentives to corporate sales teams to promote and sell Sony Ericsson products

  • Maintain and manage Account profiles of key regional dealers and provide specific objectives according to priorities and identifying possible opportunities.

  • Responsibility for development and maintenance of regional key dealers and all retailer relationships

  • Create and execute a regular call plan for key contacts

  • Ensure field/sales representatives are aware of and trained on the various SE programs and products.

  • Proactively identify problems and develop solutions within guidelines of a program.

  • Create and deliver training to all key contacts within assigned accounts

  • Weekly submission of sales call reports  and update Mosaic database as required

  • Establish and manage Prizing, Loaner, Demo Pool programs for  assigned accounts


 

Successful candidates will also have extensive experience in sales, negotiating, and technology - preferably with wireless products.
