Support and complete the design and sustaining of new and current Power Generation products related to the Progressing Cavity Pump Product line. Power Generation products consisting of Hydraulic Power Skids, Electrical Power Generation, Stationary Engines, Enclosures/Buildings and their associated equipment, packaging, and acoustical requirements.
- Create as required the mechanical design, drawings, technical specifications, and documentation associated with the development and sustaining of Power Generation related equipment.
- Support, lead, and contribute for cost optimization projects on new and existing power generation products through focus on design, optimization, and process.
- Develop, control, document, and monitor all test programs internally, externally, and field trials.
- Work closely with Technical Support, Global Business Unit, Regional Sales and Manufacturing to identify and resolve sustaining equipment related issues.
- Review and assist with the evolution of concepts, technical standards, and product design as required by the guidance and vision of the Product Line
- Discuss and work with suppliers on delivered requirements, questions, suggestions, concerns, and comments.
- Provide technical support to assist with the assembly and testing of new or modified Power Generation related equipment
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering or Design Technologist (or equivalent)
- 3-5 Years of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Knowledge and experience of hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines is an asset
- Knowledge and practical experience of installing equipment within oil field buildings and enclosures for the purpose of functionality, environmental protection, HVAC, acoustics, and noise reduction methodologies is an asset.
