Senior Equity Portfolio Subadvisor
Palos Management Inc. is a boutique financial management firm that offers a variety of investment products and solutions. Palos is seeking a senior equity portfolio subadvisor for its head office in Montreal. The Senior Equity Portfolio Subadvisor is responsible for providing advice to the portfolio managers with respect to the management of fixed income and equity portfolios and will recommend tactical investment strategies in order to generate alpha.
Objectives include researching and advising the portfolio managers on the implementation of customized portfolio overlay and hedging strategies. Successful candidate will interact with traders, portfolio managers and clients, such that strong teamwork and communication skills are imperative. Moreover, the candidate must be willing to relocate to Montreal.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Wall Street / Bay Street investment banking experience, and
- Strong experience in managing:
- fixed income and equity portfolios in both US and Canada
- long/short yield hedge fund
Academic requirements
- The candidate should demonstrate excellent academic background, and
- MBA from a top business school, and
- CPA or CA
