QA Analyst
| Description | Our client, a well-established start-up, which is a leader in its industry, is looking for a QA Analyst. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute test plans • Write test documentation • Work closely with the Professional Services team to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed • Document and track software defects found during testing • Build and provide required environment for development and test purposes • Manage all environments in the Professional Services lab oConvert, move, clone, remove, start, stop VMs on the existing servers oManage Windows, ESXi and SUN servers • Provide consultative expertise to Professional Services consultants regarding troubleshooting environmental issues • Work closely with the Professional Services consultants, during the product deployment and testing phase, in order to correctly identify and solve customer reported issues • Stay abreast of technology trends in web development and test automation • Design and build automated test suites for functional testing, stress testing and performance/scalability testing • Measure the performance of Web applications using Automated Test Tools and provide improvement recommendations |
| Prérequis/Requirements | • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 3-5 years+ IT work experience (preferably with web-based products or/and automated testing / programming) • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and QA methodologies • Proficiency in English written and verbal • Knowledge of :HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, SQL, Java and/or C#, Eclipse, Windows 2003/2008, Linux • Experience with the following would be an asset: Selenium, IBM Rational Test Studio, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, TOMCAT, MSSQL, ORACLE, DB2, MYSQL, Visual Studio, SVN, SaaS, Cloud computing, REST, PKI, VMWare Workstation, ESXi For better results please apply at : http://www.alteo.ca/en/it-jobs.html |
