Skill Requirements:
Education:
Completion of high school
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years or swing manager certificate
Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting:
Food service establishment, Fast food outlet or concession
Supervisory Experience:
Food service counter attendants and food preparers
Specific Skills:
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports
Additional Skills:
Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Own Tools/Equipment:
Uniform
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
