CLEANING & MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (NOC 6215)

Job Location:  Corner Brook, NFLD

Wage/Salary:  $11.25/hr working 40 hours per week.

Job Type:  Permanent/Full time

Previous Job experience is required.

McDonalds Restaurants, Corner Brook is seeking suitable supervisory applicants for its operation.  We want team workers for a fast-paced, upbeat environment.  Our in-store training/career mentoring programs will develop applicants for their position, as well as future promotions.  Previous experience cleaning and  supervising is required.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist cleaners in performing duties.  Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.  Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.

Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.

This occupation can involve some physical activity (sitting, standing or walking).  Should be able to handle lifting loads up to 5kg.

There is  usually a need for workers in the occupation to have the ability to communicate verbally.  Applicants should be able to speak English, write English and read English.

Essential Skills; Oral communication, working with others, problem solving, job task planning and organizing, writing, reading text and decision making.
