SAP HR Project Manager
Please Note: This Position is for Canadian Citizens and PR only. Currently we are not offering work permit.
Skills experience:
Travel up to 4 days a week (returning home on weekends - depending on the specific project)
The project manager oversees the overall implementation of an SAP implementation on schedule and within budget. Besides a thorough knowledge and experience of SAP products, this position requires strong management skills and communication.
Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for organizing and leading a cross functional team in developing and implementing project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency
• Responsible for providing technical direction and control of project personnel and for providing a framework for project planning, communications, reporting, procedural and contractual activity
• Working with the client to identify business requirements and develop the proposal • Contract management
• Developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities
• Estimating project skill requirements, working with deployment to identify appropriate resources an managing their integration into the team
• Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones
• Setting and controlling scope
• Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders
• Overall team management, including regular evaluations
• Budget management
• Risk management
Candidates must be able and willing to be mobile and open to travel extensively in Canada and United States.
Skills/Experience Required:
• Experience with SAP HR ESS/MSS, interactive ADOBE forms, Performance management, EIC – Employee Interaction Center. Experience with e-Recruit preferred.
• Selection, implementation and production support of SAP HR projects across Canada.
• Working knowledge of current SAP Project Management methodologies.
• Project leadership experience and hands-on experience on SAP implementation with HR through the entire project lifecycle (Preparation, Design/Blueprint, Build/Realization, Final Prep/Testing/Cutover, Go-live and Support, Sustainment) across industries.
• Demonstrated client management and relationship management skills
• Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress. • Strong process and industry knowledge
• Deep understanding of SAP software and project implementation methodology
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Project Management degree (PMI certification) highly desirable
• Must be Bilingual with English and French
A minimum 6 years SAP implementation experience is required, with at least 3 full life cycle project implementation experience with SAP HR in a project lead role.
