We are currently recruiting for a Promotions/Sampling Representative for our innovative client, Diageo,whose brands include Smirnoff, Baileys, Captain Morgan, José Cuervo, and Tanqueray.
In this position, you will promote alcoholic beverages through a series of activities in various establishments. Using your dynamic and outgoing personality, you will generate excitement in the product and gain participation in the promotion. You will be initiating creative sampling approaches and using your communication skills to encourage immediate purchase.
You must be willing to get your PROVINCIAL SERVER CERTIFICATION (paid by Mosaic).
In this position, you will work in liquor store locations around the city!
You will NEED full access to a car to get to and from different store locations!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote the brand to the public and draw attention to yourself
- Create a positive interaction and experience for the public
- Bring the brand to life through interactions with consumers
- Inform, educate, and sell consumers on the products
- Report on results of the promotion
- Coordinate with management at the venue to ensure a smooth and successful promotion
- Work well independently for the retail executions
Location:
Various liquor store locations within your area
When:
- Start date: July 15
- Training: July 13
- End date: 3-month contract with huge potential to continue!
Schedule:
- Typical shifts will be assigned between Thursdays and Sundays on a bi-weekly basis. Each execution is 4 hours long.
- Thursday/Friday: 4 hour execution between 3 pm and 9 pm
- Saturday/Sunday: 4 hour execution between 12 pm and 7 pm

Qualifications:
- Outgoing and friendly personality to engage the target audience into lively conversation
- A dynamic personality to draw attention to yourself and the product during events
- Excellent communication skills to convey key product or promotional messages to the target audience
- Legal drinking age
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to reliable vehicle
- Responsible server training such as "Smart Serve" or "Super Host" is required
- Previous experience as a hostess, bartender, or in promotions/public relations is an asset
